Carmen Luis Heras was born in Villarino de los Aires (Salamanca, Spain) in 1953.
Political Career[edit]
Mrs. Luis Heras is a public servant working for the Regional Government of Castile and León in Zamora and has been the attorney of the Castile and León Courts between 1995 and 1999. She then became the territorial delegate of the Regional Government of Castile and León in Zamora until she was appointed as the Vice President of the Courts for an 8-year term. She is currently the Secretary of the Commission for Relations with the Ombudsman and the spokeswoman in the Commissions of Health and Social Services and in the Labor and Social Security one.

Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Salamanca.
