Maria João Ãvila
Maria João Machado de Ávila was born on July 26th, 1956. She is currently a deputy at the Portuguese National Assembly. She is also a businesswoman, specialising in public relations.
Political Career[edit]
She is the Social Democratic deputy for the Portuguese emigrants outside of Europe. She also takes part in several Parliamentary Commissions, including the International Affairs and Portuguese Communities one.
