Mikhail Mikhailovich Kasyanov was born on December 8, 1957. He is a Russian politician, who served as Prime Minister of the country from 2000-2004.
Political Career[edit]
Prior to his position as Prime Minister of Russia, Kasyanov was Minister of Finance between 1999 to 2000. In 2010, he co-founded the coalition People's Freedom Party's "For Russia without Lawlessness and Corruption" and he is currently a co-chair of the Republican Party of Russia. Kasyanov is an open critic of President Vladimir Putin and a strong supporter of protest rallies for Fair Elections in Russia.
