Nursel Köse is a graduate architect. Already during her course of study she made an impact in a diverse range of fringe theatre productions as a director, female actor and cabaret artist. In addition, she worked as a project coordinator for youth, child and women's theatre productions in Germany.
In 1992, she founded the first foreign female cabaret: "Die Bodekosmetikerrinnen". It was in this group that she worked as director, actor and playwright, touring throughout Germany until 2007.
Since 2009, she has played the lead role in a turkish comedy play "Bacemdeki Ayı", splitting her time between Istanbul and Berlin.
