Education[edit]
Professor Romulus Brâncoveanu gained his Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and History from the University of Bucharest (1982), where he later acquired a doctorate in Philosophy (1996).
Academic Career[edit]
Since 2008, he has been professor at the Faculty of Philosophy. Between 1998 and 2008 Brâncoveanu worked as lecturer and associate professor at the Faculty of Philosophy; between 2002 and 2008 he served as Deputy Dean of this institution. Professor Brâncoveanu is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Director of the research Centre for the Study of Rationality and Beliefs, and editor of the peer-reviewed journal Public Reason.
