Thorsten Frei
Thorsten Frei is a member of the CDU/CSU party and was born on August 8, 1973 in Bad Säckingen, Germany. He is a lawyer and mayor by profession.
Political Career[edit]
Between 1992 and 1996, Frei was the chairman of the Young Union (the youth organization of the CDU) in the Waldshut county. Between1999 and 2004, he was a city councillor and head of the CDU fraction in the Bad Säckingen community council. From 2004 to 2013, he was the mayor of Donaueschingen.
Education[edit]
Between 1994 and 1999, Frei completed his study of law at the University of Freiburg. From 1999 to 2001, he worked as a judicial clerk. He held his second state examination in Stuttgart.
