Virginia Romero Bañón

Virginia Romero Bañón, born in Elda (Alicante) on the 26th September 1960, is a Spanish senator elected for the constituency of Alicante in the 10th term. She is a member of the People’s Party (PP).

Political Career[edit]

Virginia Romero Bañón was elected as senator for the first time in the current term. She is acting as a member of a number of different commissions such as the Employment and Social Security Commission or the Industry, Energy and Tourism Commissions. Before becoming a senator, Virginia Romero Bañón had also been a councillor in the city council of Elda in four different terms. At the regional level, she had been a regional deputy between 2007 and 2011. Within the Party, she is also the president of the People’s Party of Elda.

Education[edit]

Virginia Romero Bañón holds a degree in Law and she is specialised in Private Law, Commercial Law, Taxes Law and bankruptcy law. She has a MA in bankruptcy law and another in Labour Risk Prevention.
